Choroni is a charming coastal village nestled within the Henri Pittier National Park in Venezuela, famous for being the historic gateway to the legendary "Cacao Route." This region is globally renowned for producing one of the world's most prized and aromatic cacao beans, often considered the 'gold standard' for fine chocolate. The village's colorful colonial architecture and the flowing river that connects the mountains to the sea perfectly symbolize its rich agricultural heritage and its vital role in global trade history.
