The series is a communal visual diary reflecting the desire for love and intimacy during the early stages of the covid-19 pandemic, specifically the time of quarantine. The collection was inspired by conversations the artist had with various people in her community within the DMV area; the titles of the artworks were directly taken from these conversations.
When viewed as a whole, the collection Love In The Time Of Covid appears to the eye as a surreal collage that weaves individual experiences and desires, into a whole communal novella. This painting portrays the secret sexual escapade of a married man who was seduced by Vegas prostitutes to partake in a threesome, as the story was told to the artist.
